Come on come talk to me... *Come talk to me, Peter Gabriel's Secret world Live * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Fox Mulder lay on his bed listening to the steady downpour going on outside the small wood cabin he was presently occupying. This had been going on for hours. The rain itself, could have been almost relaxing had it not been for the fact that it was pouring indoors too. He closed his eyes trying unsuccessfully to block out the steady drip drip, from the ceiling into the various pots and pans scattered around the room. The electricity had gone out two hours before. The candles had run out one hour after that. And Scully had the powerbook, so working through his boredom was out of the question. In fact so was almost everything that couldn't be done in a bed. Wandering around a strange cabin in the dark could be dangerous, something he'd discovered on his first and last trip to the toilet. One stubbed toe and a bruised knee had plaintively urged him to stay in bed. 'Life,' He reminded himself .'is unfair at times'. Not only did he not find the prehistoric lake monster he had hoped to encounter, he was now stuck in a rapidly deteriorating cabin, in the middle of a vicious storm, with the worst case of indigestion he'd ever had. It had to be the ribs... His thoughts drifted back to dinner. Two racks of extra spicy ribs, broiled potatoes with gravy, and a salad. It didn't sound too unhealthy at the time, and it tasted great, so why was he suffering now?? It couldn't have been the two bags of sunflower seeds, or the volcano ridge potato chips he'd picked up on their way back to the cabin.. They were his favorite snack, so his stomach was used to them. For the fourth time in the last two hours he got up out of bed and made his way over to the window to see if there was any sign of life in the cabin across from his. Scully had gone to bed earlier and was still seemingly distraught over the loss of Quee Queg. Mulder could have kicked himself now, for not being more sensitive to her grief, but as someone who was used to doing almost weekly eulogies over his toilet bowl, pet fish in hand, he just didn't get it. A pet was a pet. Dog, fish, cat, frog, for the most part they came and went pretty quickly. 'Yeah, but dogs and cats, are companions.' His subconscious pointed out. 'They are like children. You have to bath them, feed them, brush them, walk them, talk to them...' "Alright ..." He muttered aloud, managing to avoid the two half full pots of water, on his way back to bed. He'd offer his condolences once again in the morning, and then maybe surprise her with a puppy once they got back to DC. He flopped back onto the bed, locking his fingers behind his head, and smiled to himself. There was however, a kind of poetic justice to the mutt's demise. He'd ate, only to be eaten... It was almost Darwinian. Mulder's stomach twinged painfully at the thought of eating, and he rubbed it through his T-shirt. He needed antacids badly. Scully would have them, and maybe she wouldn't hate him too much, if he woke her up with a medical emergency. It would also give him the chance to spend a few minutes more with her, and why he wanted to was something he really didn't want to examine. 'You'll survive.' He told himself, staring up at a ceiling he really couldn't see. 'Waking up your partner because you have a tummy ache doesn't constitute a medical emergency.' 'You would say that' He groaned softly, and pulled he blankets up over him, figuring the sensible part of him was right. He'd pretty much decided to tough it out until morning when a large drop of water hit him dead in the face. Blinking rapidly, Mulder sat up immediately as another one hit him on his forehead and drizzled down his nose. "Damn." he cursed softly. and jumped out of bed as the drops rapidly turned into a steady stream. 'A tummy ache may not a medical emergency,' He stated the next, and final point in his mental argument. 'but drowning would be.' Feeling his way through the dark room, Mulder finally and painfully, found the chair near the door that he'd left the rest of his clothes on or around. Massaging his wounded thigh he reached out and grabbed what felt like his jeans and then yanked them on over his boxers. His socks were in a lump on the chair and he pulled them on and then slipped into and one shoe. The other, he determined, had to be there somewhere. He'd had them both when he'd arrived back at the cabin. He had taken them both off at the same time, so it had to be there. Getting down on his hands knees he searched under the old chair and finally came up with the second shoe. "Yes.." He let out a happy whoop and grabbed for his jacket hanging near the door. Scully, he remembered, had the umbrella with her, so he tugged his hood on and stepped out into the slick night air. 'This isn't a storm.' Mulder told himself as he struggled across the short path connecting the two cabins. 'It's a goddamn hurricane'. Heavy winds buffeted him as he reached the door, and clutched the door frame in an attempt to keep himself upright. Gentility didn't even enter his mind as he kicked heavily at the door. "It's Mulder" he yelled. "Let me in.." A moment later a disheveled and sleepy Scully opened the door, and stepped back in surprise as a soaking Mulder pushed his way in. "What's going on, Mulder?" She asked slamming the door shut against the pelting rain, and watching as her partner dropped his wet coat in the middle of the floor. "It's raining.." Mulder replied squinting to see where his partner had moved to. "I know, Mulder." He heard the scratch of a match and then a soft click . Then suddenly the room was bathed in the soft light of an rusty old gas lamp. "So why did you brave the elements to come over here and wake me up at," she looked at the small travel clock beside her bed, "2 am?? Feel a sudden urge for a bath, or did you think I needed, one??" She asked indicating the saturated bottoms of her navy silk pajamas. "No I mean it's raining in my cabin, and I'm sorry about your pajamas," He said, wiggling his toes nervously inside his shoes. His partner looked amazing, her petite form dwarfed by an oversized pajama shirt with the soft glow of the lamp casting a shimmering light across her face and the loose cascade of hair surrounding it. He caught himself staring, and dropped his eyes to his feet as she tucked a strand of her auburn hair behind one ear and fixed him with a look that was none too friendly. "In your cabin, Mulder?" "It was a torrential down pour, Scully, I swear.." He replied, making squidgy noises as he crossed the room to sit at the thick wood table. "They either have a severe termite problem or some really hyperactive woodpeckers around here." He looked up at her sheepishly, as he endeavored. to remove his wet shoes. "How could you sleep through this storm, anyway?" "Sleeping is what normal people do at 2 am, Mulder." She told him making her way into the bathroom. A few seconds later she returned with a towel. "Besides I find the sound of rain soothing." She held it out to him. "Here, dry yourself off, before you end up with pneumonia." "I find it soothing too, Scully, just as long as it isn't landing on my face while I'm trying to sleep." Mulder took the proffered towel and went to work drying his hair. "Do you mind if I bunk here with you tonight?" He stopped and looked up at her with his best 'I'll be good' face. It had to be the combination of his present expression and the state of his dark hair which was standing straight on end, that made any residual anger Dana may have felt dissipate quickly. She let out a heavy sigh and threw him the pair of pink track pants she'd retrieved from her suitcase. "As long as you don't snore." She turned and then went to grab the extra blanket and pillow she'd come across in a closet earlier. "You're kidding me, right?" He held up the pink track pants, a look of utter disgust plastered on his face. "About the snoring Mulder?? I kid you not." she peaked out from behind the bundle in her arms. "I always used to get stuck sharing a tent with Missy and Bill junior when we went away on family vacations, and my brother snored like a buzz saw." she dropped her load on the tiny well worn sofa and then wagged a finger at him. "Snoring is cause for death by slow torture in my books Mulder so you'd better not. And.." She pointed to the track pants. "those are all I brought with me, unless you want to try to fit into one of my suits or my jeans, so take it or leave it." She crossed her arms in front of her, and stared at him, an evil gleam in her blue eyes. "you could always just sleep in your wet pants." "Fine," he pulled off his soggy socks and purposely listened for the wet smack as they hit the floor. "but I warn you you may not be able to control your hormones after you see me in these." He grinned, through the twinge in his stomach. "I'm told pink is my color. It makes me irresistible" "Some one lied to you Mulder..." A grinning Dana Scully turned away, removed her own wet pants, and then slid back into bed as Mulder dropped his jeans and boxers where he stood. 'This is a test,' Dana told herself. 'an act of defiance.' Most importantly, it was nothing she hadn't seen before she muttered softly pulling the covers up around her and burying her head in the pillow. All the while fighting the urge to just take a peak at what several of the girls in the secretarial pool had had the first hand opportunity to see. 'He's your partner.' She reminded herself, closing her eyes. "Umm... Scully?" Mulder broke the silence in the room. "What, Mulder?? " She mumbled from under the covers. "Do you have any antacids? I have a deadly case of indigestion." He rubbed his belly again, as if to emphasize the point. The theatrics were lost on Scully as she pointed to her small suitcase. " In the zippered portion at the top." she instructed dropping her head back into her pillow. Suddenly her eyes sprung open. "Never mind," she sat up straight. "I'll..." She looked at him and the package of condoms he'd removed. A deep shade of red moving across her face, as she got up and walked over to where he stood. He smirked at her. "50... That's an awful lot of balloons, Scully." He shook the package. "Planning a party??" He peeked inside to see if any of them had been used. "Expiry date, August '96, and only 3 missing..." Dana grabbed the package from him and shoved it back into her suitcase. "Antacids, Fox." She laid particular emphasis on his first name and then passed him the small bottle. He looked at his petite partner for a moment wondering whether he should risk his next jibe, but it was too late because it just fell out of his mouth. "So many to go and so little time... I could offer to help you get rid of them before they go to waste...." he suggested as Dana climbed back into bed. "I have a hot date on Friday." Scully's eyes flashed. "I didn't think you required birth control Mulder." She grinned wickedly and sunk back into her pillow. "Inflatable partners don't normally end up pregnant.." "Ouch, Scully." Mulder cast a pained look in his partner's direction. "You can be nasty when you are deprived of your beauty sleep." He arranged his bedding, and then settled in uncomfortably on the couch. "Go to Sleep Mulder..." Dana closed her eyes, and laughed silently to herself. In a few moments she was fast asleep. Fox Mulder, however, was not. The couch was definitely too small for his large frame, and Dana's track pants were short in the hips so the seam at the back was giving him a serious wedgie. He shifted around for a few minutes trying to get comfortable, and then gave up with a huff. Standing up he stripped the blanket off the couch and moved over to it's matching chair, pulling up a small wooden stool to use as a foot rest. Then he settled down and finally fell into a restless sleep. * * * * * * * * * * * * Earth's energy sucks shadowed milk >From sleeping tears undone With nippled skin as smooth as silk the bugles blown as one And you lie with your eyes half closed like there is no one there at all There's a tension crawling across your face Come on come talk to me.... *Come talk to me - Peter Gabriel's Secret world live * * * * * * * * * * * * * It was only a short time later that Mulder awoke with a start. Sucking a deep breath he waited for his rapidly beating heart to slow, while his eyes adjusted to the non light of the cabin. The lantern, it seemed, had run out of fuel while he'd napped, and now he found himself stuck once again in an almost pitch black cabin. He searched his mind trying to figure out what it was that had awaken him. The last thing he remembered was dreaming about pink pliosaurus' swimming in his toilet, but that had hardly been a nightmare. Suddenly a soft cry broke the quiet of the cabin, and then the sound of thrashing. Mulder was on his feet immediately, blind eyes scanning the room. Carefully picking his way over to the bed, he tried to be as quiet as possible, listening for any telltale signs that they were not alone. He didn't think that there was anyone in the room but it didn't hurt to be careful. The noise had subsided to little more than a whimper. It sounded like it was just Scully having a bad dream "Shit..." he uttered a soft curse as he banged his big toe against the foot of her bed. "Scully..." he called softly not wanting to scare her awake, and then climbed over the heavy oak foot board of the bed, and across the mattress. He could feel her legs under the covers as he moved up towards where her head would be. 'It's definitely a dream.' He told himself. She was shaking like a leaf, her legs moving like they were trying to kick but were being held down by some invisible force. "Dana." he uttered her name once more. "It's me Mulder..." He shook her lightly trying not to jar her awake, and hoping at the same time that when she did wake up she wouldn't misinterpret his being there, and wallop the living daylights out of him.. Her trembling grew worse and she started to cry in earnest, her sobs broken by a pleading "No.." "Jesus.." His heart went out to her. "No... Please, stop..." He slipped an arm under his partners shoulders and then pulled her part way onto his lap. so he could fully embrace her. She moved like a puppet under his command, her head coming to rest heavily against his chest. "Shhhhh...." He whispered to into her hair, it's clean fresh smell seducing his senses as he spoke. "You're, okay." He began to rock her gently. "I'm here, and your safe." Unsure of whether she was still sleeping or not, Mulder waited until her sobs had died down to a breathless hiccup, and then nudged her slightly. "Hey.... are you awake?" Dana Scully remained silent for a moment doubtful as to whether or not she should say anything. She had awaken sobbing in Mulder's arms and was still feeling a heavily disoriented. Remnants of stark terror shadowed her thoughts, as she brought her arms up to embrace her partner. Finally she nodded against his chest, but didn't pull away. His arms were comforting and as much as she didn't want to admit it to herself she was enjoying the feeling of them around her. It was wrong and went against every rule in the book, but stuck alone in a dark cabin, in the middle of no where, and feeling very vulnerable, that book held little weight. "Nightmare??" Mulder broke the heavy silence hoping that she wouldn't feel compelled to pull away immediately. She felt good in his arms.. It felt right. But then he'd known that it would for a long time now. Dana nodded again, and shuddered forcefully. Reflexively, Mulder kissed the top of her head. It was meant as a comfort measure but it felt strangely erotic to him. His hand came up automatically and began to smooth the silky strands of her auburn hair. "You were crying... Do you remember it at all?" Dana's embrace turned into a clutch as she shook her head. "None of it?" She shook her head again. "Please..." her voice was weak and taut with fear. "I can't talk about this now." It was somewhere her mind wasn't willing to go, yet she didn't know how to explain this to her partner. Her voice broke with uncertainty. "C.. can we just stay like this for a few minutes? Can you just hold me, Mulder?" Something twisted inside him, a mix of desire and dread formed in Fox's stomach. All at once he had this incredible urge to run, and at the same was overwhelmed by the desire to stay and lose himself in the woman in his arms. He stiffened slightly. Dana could feel his discomfort through his intricate and unconscious body movements, and began to pull away. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Shakily she began to slide off of his lap. "I.. I'm fine ..." "No.." Mulder maintained his loose embrace on her. He was glad for the darkness now, it's concealment would allow him some honesty. "I'm sorry.." he drew her to him and kissed her forehead softly. "but if I stay here like this, Dana. I don't know what will happen. I know it's not right, but it's how I feel." He let her go. He needed to find the bathroom, A splash of cold water would bring this all back into perspective. What he felt wasn't new to him. He'd been feeling it for a long time, but he wasn't anywhere near certain that his partner felt the same way, and never before had his feelings been so able to sway his sensibilities. Dana grabbed his hand as he was about to get up. She was looking away from him now just in case his eyes could somehow penetrate the darkness surrounding them, and read the emotions that were written on her face. Love, Desire, Need.... "What would you say if I told you that right now that doesn't matter?" She asked, both afraid and hopeful of his reply. Mulder stopped, a tightness spread across his chest, and a swirl of emotion shifted through his body. It was the feeling of a man denied something so long and finally told he could have it. Her touch was gentle but firm. She meant what she had said. He had to regain control of himself. She was vulnerable right now, and would regret this conversation in the morning. He cleared his throat. "Then I would have to say that that is a very dangerous place we're headed." His voice betrayed his uncertainty while his body betrayed his desire to stay. Scully shook her head in the darkness. "I know and I don't care...." He moved back onto the bed, and sat back against the headboard tugging gently on her hand. "You might in the morning..." She lay back into his embrace, her need to be held by him was driven, almost palpable. "Whatever we have between us Mulder, is something I could never regret.. No matter what happens." She rested the back of her head his chest, and he slipped his arms around her shoulders. Fox bent his head forward, bringing his mouth close to Dana's ear. His breath was warm and sweet against the side of her neck. "Never say never, Scully.." "Never... Mulder." She closed her eyes, and focused on his touch. It was tender and caring, and more than a little fearful. It felt amazing. Dana had relaxed in his arms, seemingly more at peace. "Do you have bad dreams often?" he asked tentatively his arms tensing around her protectively. Scully's brought her own arms up, and wrapped them over his. "Would you believe me if I said that I don't know?" She replied, a shiver running up her spine. "If it's the truth.." He shifted so he could rest his chin on her shoulder, and then breathed in deeply. He was becoming fixated on her smell. Lilacs "It's the truth..." He was lulling her, the heat from his body penetrating her pajamas and mingling with her own. It made it easier for her to talk. The comfort.. The closeness.. The sharing.. "Sometimes I wake up feeling like I haven't slept, or I wake up afraid, but I never remember." "I could help you remember..." Panic ran though her, and she started instinctively. "No.. I can't." She shook her head. "Not yet.." The breath she'd taken trembled in her chest. He increased the strength of his hold on her, and kissed her softly on the cheek, afraid for her, and equally as angry. "It's okay.. when ever you are ready.. no pressure." her skin beneath his lips was smooth and velvety, and wreaked havoc on his already depleted control. She nodded silently and consciously pushed away the tension that had overtaken her. "What was I doing?" she asked her voice tremulous. She wasn't sure she really wanted to know, but a part of her said that she needed to. "I mean, I know I was crying, but what else?" . One of Mulder's hands came up and he gently ran his fingertips along her throat. It was a distractive and calming measure, and it worked both ways. "You were trying to get away from something, but I think you were being held down because you were behaving like you couldn't move. You were yelling, 'No, please stop'," He pressed his body into hers, lending his strength to her as she began to tremble. "and Scully, those were your exact words." He rested his head against the side of hers. "Does any of this sound even remotely familiar?" Scully shook her head. "I mean it does in a very muddled or detached sort of way, but not really. I know it has something to do with my disappearance, though." Her words slipped into the silence of the night around them, and Mulder held her for a moment, unspeaking. He rested his forehead on her shoulder, and closed his eyes. Another flash of anger tore through him, at the recollection of her earlier cries. "If I ever find the people who did this to you Dana, I will kill them." he said possessedly, only the tension in his words revealing the depth of his rage. His touch remained warm as his mouth came up to kiss her lightly on her shoulder, his lips lingering over a particularly sensitive spot at the base of her neck. Scully's heart skipped a beat, a combination of both his admission and the feel of his mouth on her skin. A low moan escaped her own mouth, as she fought the urge to give into his touch. His admission terrified her more than any dream or reality ever could. He could just as easily get killed, as do the killing. And if that were ever to happen a large part of her would be stripped away forever. "No Mulder, " She shifted her head without thought to allow him better access, but he pulled away. "I'm sorry...." his voice was strained and hoarse. Believing that his own long held needs, and desires were pushing their present situation beyond where Scully wanted it to go, he stopped and sat back against the headboard, discomfited. Dana turned to face him, her hand coming up as she felt for him in the darkness. There was a tension in the set of his jaw. Her finger moved along his face exploring his eyes, his nose, the stubble on his chin, his sensuous full lips... She smiled. They were warm and moist under her touch and instinctively she bent into kiss him, her eyes closing as she lost her self in the moment. "Promise me you won't kill anyone Mulder...." Her words a faint breath between the cautious almost timid meeting of their lips. Mulder took her face in his hands, his voice firm and honest. "Promise me you won't kill anyone, Fox......" His thumbs traced achingly slow and tremendously sensual circles at the corners of her mouth. "And that's something I can't promise you." he pulled her face into meet his and rested his forehead on hers. "Promise me, Fox." She ran her fingers through his hair "I can't." he reiterated, his hands moving down her neck to the loose collar of her night shirt, as his mouth found hers once more. "They, who ever they are, deserve worse than death for what they have done to you." "Please.. " Dana stopped him, holding his face away from her momentarily "I want them punished, not dead. I don't want you to do anything like that for me." Her voice was soft, reasonable, but pleading in the same manner. She had to talk him out of his need for revenge. The people they were dealing with were powerful, and easily pushed into a violent solution. "It goes against every thing that you are, and you could be the one who ends up getting killed. And that would hurt me more than anything that they have done to me." "I would do anything for you..." "Then do this for me.." Mulder removed Dana's hands from his face, and kissed her palms. "Okay.." he gave in reluctantly. "But only because I don't want to see you hurt anymore...." Part of him was already regretting his relent. He let her hands go and leaned into her, his mouth again coming into contact with the delicate skin of her neck. Dana's flesh tingled where his lips made contact, and a soft groan escaped her, as he slipped one hand behind her head, and lowered her back onto the bed. "I want to make love to you, Dana." Mulder whispered. It was something he'd previously only allowed himself to say in the resolute privacy of his fantasies . Scully stared at her partner's darkened outline, her stomach twisting into knots. This was a monumental step for both of them, and as much could be easily gained as lost in the next few moments. She was in love with him, and had been for a long time, but that didn't mean he reciprocated those feelings. He cared about her and he wanted her, but desire and love didn't always go hand in hand, and that scared her. To have him for a while and then lose him possibly to someone else... Laying beside her Fox waited him mind silently tracing out his own fears. Did she love him? Did she want this or was she allowing this because she was vulnerable and simply caught up in the moment? Did he want this? Almost unconsciously he began lightly caressing the outside of her thigh with his free hand. His emotions bypassing the questions in his mind. His hand slipped up under her Pajama top to the even plane of her stomach, and massaged it lightly. Her skin was silky smooth to the touch, and the contact stripped away any lingering doubt that he may have harbored. This was what he wanted, not only a partner or a friend, but a lover too. "If you don't want this to happen you have to stop me now..." His hand moved up to one firm breast, his fingers mercilessly teasing one supple nipple. "Now, Dana..." He repeated, his mouth coming down kiss at her exposed abdomen. Turning back from beyond this point on would be almost impossible. Scully shivered with delight, their intimacy washing away the remainder of her concerns, as her passion took over. She laced her fingers though his hair, her touch egging him on. "I -I feel like I'm moving through a dark tunnel," the words slipped out of her mouth, sounding hazy. "and you're the one standing in the light at the end of it." Her voice broke slightly. "Make love to me." * * * * * * * * * * * I can imagine the moment breaking out of the silence All the things that we both might say And the hearts that will not be denied till we're both on the same damn side all the barriers blown away. *Come talk to me - Peter Gabriel's Secret world live * * * * * * * * * * * Mulder stopped, and moved up so that they were almost nose to nose, and for the first time since the lamp had died, he didn't want to hide his feelings behind the darkness. Dawn was beginning to break outside, but the gloominess of the rain diminished the light, allowing only filtered shadows into the still darkened night sky. "Come on.." he helped her up off the bed, and taking her by the hand he walked her over to the dim light of the window. "What's the matter?" Dana asked, confusion evident in her voice. "Nothing..." Mulder moved the curtains aside, to let the minimal light shine in. Brushing an errant strand of hair from her face and he then brought his hands up to cup her face. "I just wanted to see it your eyes." He searched them, trying to identify the emotions hidden within their blueness, but he kept getting lost. He refocussed, shoving his own emotions aside for a moment. "I want to know that you want this as much as I do and that tomorrow your first thought won't be 'what have I done?'." His hands slid down to her shoulders."Your afraid.." It was a statement of fact. He could see it written all over her face. "A little.." Scully admitted shifting her gaze to somewhere out the window. Mulder dropped his head in front of `hers, forcing her to look at him. "Of me?" "No.." She shook her head, and tried to lighten the conversation a bit. "of your hot date Friday night.." She joked, at the same time realizing that her statement less of a joke and closer to home than she would have liked. And the look on Mulder's face told her that he had pegged her meaning for what it was, as well. "It that what you think this is?" he asked softly. Dana averted her eyes so she didn't have to look at the hurt in his face, and then she shook her head again, fumbling for the right words to explain the turmoil she was feeling. She didn't want to be just another in the long string of short term relationships he managed to cram in between cases, and their many trips out of town. Their working relationship would make such a thing unbearable. "No.." She shivered, the cool air of the cabin suddenly giving her goosebumps. "I don't know....." She wanted to go back to bed and bury herself in the covers. And she wanted him to be there with her. Mulder reached out and pulled her into an embrace, his mouth brushing against the top of her head. He spoke into her ear, laying his feelings, raw and exposed, the surface of his words. "I love you Scully. If another fling was all I wanted tonight, the waitress at the restaurant was available. Hell." He said, still amazed at the turn the whole evening had taken. "I didn't even plan this, but I know want it." He closed his eyes, frightened of the answer to his next question, he pulled back look at her face. "but I need to know if you do. Is this what you want?" Scully face lit up with what Mulder thought had to be the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. "More than anything.." She leaned into him pulling his mouth down meet to hers. "I love you so much that it scares me. And this. Us..." She gestured indicating a connection between the two of them. "putting it into words makes it all that much more terrifying. I don't want to lose you Mulder, not to a waitress in some restaurant, and not at work." "No woman I have ever met even compares to you, Dana, so I'm afraid you're stuck with me." He grinned and lifted her up bringing her eye to eye with him "And as for work... It'll be the same as always. We've just added another dimension to our relationship, that's all." He placed her onto the window ledge, admiring the way the dull light of the morning picked up the highlights in her hair creating a halo effect. "You're so beautiful." he pushed her up against the window, his hands slipping up under her night shirt, as he pressed his mouth onto hers. This time their kiss was no longer tentative, but rather one rich with passion. Dana leaned into him her arms encircling his neck, while his hands soothingly explored her body seeking out it's most sensitive areas. Gently, almost shyly they tasted each other for the first time, openly sharing their longing for each other. "Mmmm.." Mulder moaned softly as Scully's own hands came around the front and absently brushed at his growing erection. "Time for a change of location." He mumbled lifting her up so that she was straddling him and carrying her over to the dining table. He faltered for a moment almost losing control of himself, as Dana's mouth left his and traced a sensual pathway along his jawbone and down his neck. Fox placed Scully on the table lightly, and lowered her into a lying position. The cool wood beneath her soaked through the thin material of Scully's pajamas, creating a startling and enticing difference to the heat radiating from her partner's body. Fox leaned into her, dragging his lips along her collarbone, as his hands worked to undo her buttons. He could have just slid the pajamas up, but he wanted her fully exposed so he could drink in all of her. A gasp of pleasure escaped Mulder, as one of Dana's hands began to massage him through his track pants, and his legs went weak under her touch. "No.." he gripped her hand and moved it away. He was fighting for what little control he had left, and her ministrations weren't helping his tenuous situation at all. Kissing her fingertips sweetly, he then rested her palm against his chest. "I just want to..." "Shhh..." Mulder quieted her with a finger on her full mouth, and then bent into kiss her. "My turn.." he kissed her again. "I want to pleasure you first..." His voice was throaty and filled with a hunger that Dana could see reflected in his hazel eyes. "I want to see you come.." He told her, at the same time moving off of her for a moment, so he could brush aside the open front of her night shirt. A jagged breath caught in his throat, as he revealed her nakedness. Her skin was dazzling in it's pale contrast to the dark wood of the table and the deep blue of her top. He closed his eyes willing the sight before him into his memory. Lovingly he ran a hand up her stomach savoring the feel of her flesh against his. It stopped at one full breast and he fondled it softly before bringing his mouth down to sample it. Dana's back arched, the pleasure of his touch setting off a chaotic barrage of sensations throughout her body. The burning in her belly was expanding now, moving out to include her limbs, which had grown heavy with desire. He moved to the other breast his lips provoking it's nipple into tautness. "Oh .. Fox...." The words came out as little more than a gasp, but the effect they had on Mulder was overwhelming. "Say it again...." he whispered his lips tracing an erotic path down her abdomen to her black lace underwear. "Say my name... " He slid her pants off quickly, his fingers teasing the inside of her thigh all the while. "Fox..." "Again.." His mouth buried itself in the soft mass of curls, his tongue licking, suckling and tasting her. For Dana it was suddenly very hot in the room, the moist flesh of his mouth, was rough and demanding against the sensitive nub between her legs, making her feel like she was on fire. A tight gasp escaped her partly opened mouth. She grabbed his lean shoulders, in an effort to keep herself from falling over the abyss looming before her, his name both pleading and impassioned as it fell from her tongue again. "Fox...." Mulder's mouth moved to her thigh as his hands whisper soft, but assured in their purpose, urged her over the edge. He watched on enraptured; consumed by his own desire, as an intimate range of emotions played across his partner's beautiful visage. "I Love you." he told her again and again, as she let out a soft cry, and her body convulsed reflexively.. His lips found hers, as he was suddenly overcome by the need to be in her, to be a part of her. Scooping her up he moved over to the bed, the two if them tumbling, still entwined onto it. Through the still prevalent blur of ecstasy Dana, elicited a moan of pleasure from Mulder, as her mouth moved from his, and down to one flat pinkish nipple where she nippled at it playfully. "I want to be in you..." Fox said, his voice heavily laden with his own need. He slipped one hand under her buttocks, in an attempt to shift her up on top of him. Dana resisted, her eyes flashing brightly as one hand moved down through the top of his track pants to cup his soft sac. "My turn." she grinned, her actions eliciting a soft growl. "and I have handcuffs if you don't co-operate." She whispered, indicating the headboard, at the same time moving her hand up slightly to gently massage his full erection. "Maybe I should put up a fight.." his words slurred slightly, and Fox's world became hazy, as Dana moved the track pants down his hips, and then gently encircled him with her hands, stroking him softly. Mulder's skin was hot and pliant under Dana's touch, a thin sheen of sweat making it almost luminous. She moved her hand with deliberate slowness, watching her partner's breath catch with each stroke. "I love you too Mulder..." She told him. Feeling it with every ounce of life in her. He was a part of her, he made her whole. Watching him and his reactions to her affectations she grew entranced. The pleasure in his face, the smoky desire in his eyes, was that which was reflected her own. "I love you." she repeated thankful for the release of being able to say it after having felt it but needing to hide it for so long. Her words were like a bright light leading him home through a wall of blackness. This was right.. They were right. His hands were drawn down to the fiery cascade crowning her head. It was a part of her, and the brightest thing in his world right now. His fingers reveled in the feel of it's silkiness running between them. His heart skipped a beat as she took him into her mouth. "Oh god..." being the only thing to escape through the thickness of his tongue and out into the still morning air. He was drowning now, and he knew it. Somewhere in the back of his mind some rationality forced him to reach for the small foil packet he'd retrieved from her bag on the table. He fumbled with it. His fingers leaden under his rapidly diminishing control. Fox was going to explode, he was certain of it. His nerve endings were transmitting gamut of sensations all of them excruciatingly pleasurable. "Dana, No..." He croaked, his one hand holding out the small latex disk, while the other moved down to stroke the satiny smoothness of her back. "Please.." Scully suckled him teasingly for a moment longer feeling her own excitement rise at the franticness in his voice. She loved what she could do to him, and he to her. It was so incredibly intimate and sharing. She took the condom from his shaking hand and slipped it over him. Then suddenly he was on top of her, his mouth covering hers. His kiss gentle, yet demanding. One of his hands took hers, their fingers entwining. "You mean more to me than anything in this world.." He told her, slightly out of breath. His eyes caught hers, and held them. Dana was certain she had never felt more loved, or loving than she did at this particular moment. Her hand came up to caress his cheek. "You are my world, Fox." Mulder kissed away the small tear that escaped her eye and stolen it's way down her cheek. "Our turn.." He whispered hotly into her ear, as he slowly slid into her, her legs coming up to wrap possesively around him. His movements were slow and gradual at first. Afraid of hurting her, she was so much smaller than he, he rocked her gently, waiting for her to relax. "Look at me.." he demanded tenderly, her eyes having closed, as she let out a soft gasp of pleasure. Dana obliged him, opening her eyes and herself up to him, so he could read all of her emotions. She loved the feel of him in her, it soothed her making her a part of the unique oneness they shared. His partner's irises were a stunning crystal blue now, their color seeming to deepen with passion at each of his rapidly increasing movements. Another small cry passed through her lips, then another, and then Mulder found himself lost to his own pounding heart. Fox's breath came torn and harsh from his chest, his world focusing brilliantly for an instant and the shattering momentously around him. Dana's own cry and the feel of her body milking him greedily, being the last thing he experienced before a blinding flash of total ecstasy took over. Minutes later, feeling spent and still slightly out of breath, Mulder brought his hand up to smooth the tousled hair that had fallen around Dana's flushed face. They were one now.. a whole. Scully bent forward placing a tender kiss on his mouth, and then let her head sink back into the crook of his arm, her eyelids weighty and her body satiated. "You look tired.." his thumb traced the out line of her swollen rose colored lips. She grinned wearily. "Wayward men breaking down my door at 2 o'clock in the morning.." She placed another kiss on his palm. "It's all your fault." he smiled, his green hazel eyes both teasing and loving. "Mine??" She asked groggily. Her curiosity was only marginally peaked, the rise and fall of Mulder's chest already edging her towards a badly needed slumber.. "Mmm humm." He nodded slightly, his own eyes closing under the weight of his exhaustion. "You didn't listen to me when I told you that I'm irresistible in pink.." he grinned "Mulder?" her words were muffled and thick. "Umhm..." he didn't think he even had the energy left to speak. "Go to sleep..." she smiled, only visualizing his expression, her eyelids were immovable. "As long it's with you.." He tightened his hold on her, his consciousness waning. "Anytime and anywhere.." Optional last paragraph. Up the road from the cabin aways sat a dark and ominous looking van. Inside two men highly agitated, and in serious need of sexual fulfillment switched off their headsets, and stared at each other. "Damn it Mike," the older graying man with the pot belly took a drag on his cigarette. "Do you ever feel like you're just some kind of a pathetic voyeur?" Mike a tall thin wiry man held up the thick reel of surveillance tape they'd accumulated over the past few hours. "The big man would have our asses if we dump this." "It's just two agents screwin' each other silly Mike.. what are the ramifications? Reprimand? Temporary reassignment to this kinda shit? They ain't hurtin' anyone. And you can't tell me you ain't done it at one time.." Mike stared at the older man for a moment. "If I didn't know better I might think you were growing a conscience Farley. What do you care, anyway.." Farley took the reel from his partner's hand and held his cigarette up to it. "I'm a romantic, Son..:" He grinned and dropped the tape into the waste basket where it smoldered a moment, then suddenly caught and turned into a mini inferno. "Besides the boss will piss on us both if we bring him shit like this. He's looking for something important. You know saying something, doing something damaging, espionage, crap like that. Bangin' around ain't damaging. It's just bangin' around.. Let 'em have their fun. Knowing King Morley like I do, he'll catch 'em in his noose and truss 'em up soon enough." He butted out his cigarette and passed Mike a fresh tape reel. "Gawd this job is shitty." he lit up another camel and inhaled it deeply. "Just who did we piss off to win this detail??" THE END... 8 )
